
Veribest ISD would like to welcome Mrs. Mandy Traylor as our new Superintendent of Schools. Mrs. Traylor was hired unanimously at the VISD Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Mrs. Traylor comes to us from Sunray ISD where she served for the past three years as High School Principal. She began her career in education at Weatherford ISD. She then moved to Big Lake ISD in 2011 where she was Elementary Principal for Reagan County ISD for seven years before moving to Sunray ISD. Mrs. Traylor has been in Education now for fifteen years.
Mrs. Traylor received her Masters of Education degree from Lamar University where she also obtained her Superintendent Certification.
Mrs. Traylor is happily married to Brandon, and they have a son, Tyler, and a daughter-in-law, Heaven, who reside in Levelland.
The Traylors are excited to be back in West Texas and to be a part of Veribest ISD.

Congratulations to the Jr high tennis teams who competed at district in Menard on Thursday. Peyton Larson and Rylie Richey earned the district championship gold medal in mixed doubles, Collyn Daniels earned the district championship gold medal in girls singles and Rafael Casillas and Jose Villagomez earned a bronze medal in boys doubles. Also, The girls team finished strong taking first place and earning them the district championship. Congratulations to Coach Schlicke and the entire team on a great finish to the season. Great job representing the Falcon Family!

Parents: If your student was issued a hotspot by Veribest ISD, we are asking that these devices be returned back to the school no later than Friday, May 7th.
If you were given a BEC hotspot provided by West Central Wireless the value of that device if it isn’t received back is $200. (Hotspot + Charger + Antennas)
If you were given a Tom Green County Library/T-Mobile Hotspot the value of that device along with the accessories if it isn’t received back is $102. (Hotspot - $75 | Charger - $20 | Bag - $7)
Please send the device + any accessories to school with your student(s) and have them returned to either Mrs. Zaruba in the Main Office, or Mr. Burns in the Technology Office.
Again, we are asking that these devices be returned back no later than Friday, May 7th.

Congratulations to the Lady Falcon golf team for their 3rd place finish at the 1A Regional Golf Tournament. The Lady Falcons have qualified to compete in the 1A State Golf Tournament next month.
