Our home basketball games on Friday night vs Santa Anna have been rescheduled for Monday, February 7. Junior high girls will start at 4:00 on Monday followed by junior high boys at 5:00, Varsity girls at 6:00, and Varsity boys at 7:15.
I’m still awaiting another call from Ballinger about our JV girls game that is scheduled for 4:00 on Friday…more info on that later.
Veribest ISD will be closed tomorrow, February 3rd, due to inclement weather.

The San Angelo Standard Times All-West Texas Volleyball Team and the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State team was announced over the holidays and the Veribest Lady Falcons were well represented on both.
Coach Denise Richards was named West Texas Volleyball Coach of the Year.

The Veribest School Stock Show is this coming Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Tom Green County 4-H Barn.
All community members are welcome to attend. The show begins at 10:00 am on Saturday and will include a livestock show as well as a project show.
A few key reminders:
Set up for the show will be Thursday at 6:30pm if you would like to help.
Livestock Projects may begin arriving Friday morning.
All exhibitors and project show participants need to be at the barn by 9:00 am on Saturday.
Entries can be made the day of the show.
