Transfer applications are being processed as quickly as possible. Letters are being sent via email to the address on the application. If you did not meet the May 6th deadline, you may still apply, however you may be placed on a waiting list.

A big shout out to Travis Lange and his students who received their welding certifications! Some students tested and passed in multiple categories. Congratulations to GT Jackson, Cameron Doty, Lane Howard, Tres Brock, AC Natividad, Connor Pence, Konnor Barnes, Elijah Gamao, Luke Williams, Cora Blackwell, Nick Martin, Hunter Tucker, Fernando Lara, Tristan Nguyen, and Alfredo Flores.
Congratulations to Connor Pence and Lane Howard for advancing to State today at the Area FFA Convention! Connor was Star Lonestar Farmer and Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency. Lane was Star Greenhand in Agribusiness. We are so proud of these Falcons!
Last day of school time change: Buses will run at 3:00pm Wednesday, May 25th. We need to stretch the day to meet our required minutes. Students may be signed out by their adult prior to the 3:00pm dismissal.
We missed coding an ice day from February, but adding the additional time will bank the minutes we need. Thank you for your understanding and your continued support of our Falcons.
Today: NHS & NJHS Induction Ceremony starts at 1:15 pm. High School Awards Ceremony starts at 2:00 pm.
Huge congratulations to our Lady Falcon golf team and Coach Neal for earning the second place team over the last two days at the state golf tournament at Plum Creek in Kyle! Way to go girls!

Just a reminder that there will be NO school tomorrow May 13th or Monday, May 16th. Enjoy the long weekend!
VISD will have a walk thru send off for our state golfers and state tracksters on Thursday at 1:30 pm. Parents may join us in the cafeteria for the walk thru. Let’s go Falcons! Show our athletes that are headed to compete at the state level some Falcon pride and Falcon cheering! Good luck to these athletes and coaches at the state level!

We would like to invite everyone to the Veribest FFA Chapter Banquet on Thursday, May 5th. The banquet will begin at 6:30 pm and it will be held at the Tom Green County 4-H Building. All students that participated in LDE's, CDE's, stock shows or received their welding certification will be recognized. We encourage all these members to be present. A pork loin meal will be provided for free for all FFA members and $10 per plate for everyone else. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
