MOUSETRAP RACE DAY
APRIL 28
Veribest students in 5th – 8th grade:
This year the Veribest High School GT students are hosting the 2025 Mousetrap Car Races and you are invited to enter! The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 11. All cars will be built at home as this is just for fun and enrichment. Each student that signs up will be provided a mousetrap. The contest will have 2 events, fastest car to travel 25 feet, and longest distance. The rules of the race are that the cars must be powered solely by the provided mousetrap, without any modifications to the spring or the use of other energy sources, and must start themselves after the trap is tripped, with no pushing or pulling allowed.
