If you are planning to head to Coleman today to watch our Lady Falcons play some volleyball, we will be starting the JV at 1:00 with Varsity following at 2:00. The move was made so our girls could run at the ASU cross country meet this morning. So head over to Foster Field to watch them run at 9:00 and then we will see you in Coleman at 1:00! Congratulations to our Varsity Lady Falcon volleyball team as they defeated Vernon Northside, Water Valley, and Harper today to claim the title of champion in the Bronte Showdown Tourney! Emily Scott was named as the tournament MVP and Callie Briley received recognition on the All Tournament team! Thanks to all of our fans who came out to cheer for us today. It’s always a great atmosphere during our matches. We aren’t US without YOU! Way to go Lady Falcons! #goaldiggin’

Our JV Lady Falcon volleyball team will play in the Sonora tournament on Saturday at 9:00 am while our Varsity Lady Falcons will be playing at 8:00 am in the Bronte tournament. So if you are looking for something to do this Saturday, head north or south to watch some of our athletes in action. Let’s go Lady Falcons! #goaldiggin’

4-H Meet & Greet

Your Lady Falcon volleyball team went 3-0 in a tough pool today at the Nita Vannoy tourney! Tomorrow morning they will play in the silver division against Wink at 11:00 at Lakeview. We had a great crowd this evening, and the team really appreciates the support. We hope to see you all there again tomorrow too! #goaldiggin’

This is just a reminder that we have a new Friday schedule this year. We will be releasing at 3:00. Buses will run at this time every Friday. Have a wonderful weekend!

Remember tonight we have Meet The Teacher and Meet The Falcons. Meet the Teacher starts at 5:30. In addition to meeting their teacher, students can bring their supplies to their classrooms or lockers. Meet the Falcons will start at 6:30 in the high school gym. High School athletes for football, volleyball, and cross country will be introduced after our cheerleaders start the program with a few cheers for all of us! To all high school mathematics students— Please bring one large brown paper grocery sack on the first day of school. You will use this for your book cover. H‑E‑B large brown paper grocery sacks work the best!

We are still in need of workers for today’s volleyball matches at 4:40, 5:50, and 7:00 in our elementary gym for Falcon Fest. If anyone is available to help, please contact Coach Richards. Thanks!

Thanks to all of our workers and volunteers who helped make today a successful first day of our 8th annual Falcon Fest volleyball tournament! Here are the brackets for tomorrow. We still need a few workers for the table and also can use some help in concession stand as well. Come on out and cheer on our Lady Falcons too! Be sure to grab a cute tournament shirt while you are cheering!

Don’t forget to join us on Monday, August 15 at 5:30 for Meet the Teacher, followed by Meet the Falcons at 6:30.

This year we will be implementing a new drop off/pick up route. There is a map attached. Starting on the first day of school, you will enter through the entrance behind the portables. Follow through and out of the black electric gate by the bus barn. It will be the same in the afternoons. If you want to park, please park in the football parking lot and walk across.
